Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lacrosse team had one named to the MASCAC weekly awards after their Spring Break action in Hilton Head, SC. First year Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA) was named the Rookie of the Week by the MASCAC. The Lacrosse team went a perfect 2-0 on the trip, securing wins over Colby-Sawyer and Emerson College.
Fisher Finished with nine points on three goals and six assists along with 12 caused turnovers, six ground balls and four draw controls in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Had three goals and five assists with 10 caused turnovers, five ground balls and a draw in the 13-6 win over Colby-Sawyer College and added an assist, ground ball and two caused turnovers in the 22-13 win over Emerson College.
The Lancers are back in action on Tuesday when they host Western New England at 5pm.
