Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Lacrosse team has again been selected with a conference weekly honor. Sophomore Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA), last year’s dominant Rookie of the Week recipient nabbed her first weekly honor this season being named the MASCAC Defensive Player of the Week.
Fisher finished with seven groundballs, a caused turnover and six draw controls in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. Also added three goals and three assists. Had four groundballs, five draws and a caused turnover in the 17-2 win over Salem State. Added three more groundballs and a draw in the 16-7 setback to Westfield State.
Worcester State Lacrosse is back on action tomorrow at 6pm when they welcome Framingham State in what will be a pivotal post season determining battle with the Rams at 6pm.
