With game one’s results, the Falcons advance to 15-16 and 8-3 in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) play, while the Lancers dip to 12-23 and 1-9 in the MASCAC.

    WORCESTER, Mass. – After falling behind 8-2 after the first three innings of play, the Worcester State Lancers (12-22) completed the comeback and defeated the Becker College Hawks (15-22) 10-9 in the bottom of the 9th inning when Mike Ferrara (Easton, Mass.) hit a sacrifice fly to score Mike Powers (Weymouth, Mass.) at the plate with the tying run. Moments later, Brian Bonacquisti (Pittsfield, Mass.) scored on a Becker defensive error for the win.

With the win, Worcester State snaps their 10-game losing streak and improves to 11-19 on the season. With the loss, Salve Regina drops to 15-10-1 on the season.

In the opener, freshman Riley Fusaro (Nantucket, Mass.) drove in three runs in support of fellow freshman Brian Kwedor (Marshfield, Mass.) to give the Buccaneers an 11-6 triumph.
