Brittany Ford begins her first year coaching at Worcester State University. Ford comes to the Lancers after coaching the JV squad for her high school alma mater at Notre Dame Academy during the 2009 season.

After transferring from URI in her freshman season, Ford started in nearly every contest over a three-year span at Assumption College primarily playing in the midfield and at back. In addition to being a co-captain in her senior year, she was one of two student athletes to represent the Greyhounds in the Division II North-South Senior All-Star game that was held at Louisville University in 2008.

While at Notre Dame, Ford was a Central Mass All-Star and a member of the Telegram & Gazette Dream team as she helped lead her squad to a pair of Central Mass State Championships and the state finals in 2004.

Throughout high school and college Ford has been active in community service and she has competed in each of the last two Boston Marathons. She is currently employed as an Executive Assistant and Real Estate Appraiser for a local firm.
