Sutton, Mass. - The Worcester State University men's golf team competed yesterday at Blackstone National in the Rich Korzec Invitational and finished in 6th place.

Babson College won the championship with a team score of 307 (+19).

Senior Will Sjogren (Auburn, MA) shot Worcester State's low round of the day with a 12-over 84 to finish tied for 14^th place overall.   Senior Blake Thorne (Bridgewater, MA) finished with a 14-over 86 and tied for 18^th place.

Junior Max Joiner (Great Barrington, MA) shot a round an 89 and Senior  Jake Poitras (Harwich, MA) shot a round of 90 for the Lancers.

Worcester State will next hit the links this Sunday, May 1st when they compete at Eastern Connecticut State University.
