Westfield, MA — A total of 1,463 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall/Winter 2025 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – 64 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) student-athletes have been recognized for their outstanding sportsmanship as members of the 2024 Fall Sportsmanship Team.
Westfield, Mass. — Anna Maria’s Nikolay Boyce and Mass. Maritime’s Jackson Mahoney are the 2025 MASCAC Football Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year and headline the 2025 MASCAC All-Conference teams as voted on by the coaches from around the league.
Worcester, MA- In the final game of the 2025 season, the Worcester State Lancers football team (3-6, 3-5) hosted Framingham State. The game was also played in honor of the 2025 senior class of Jake Ambrose (Middleboro, MA), Cam Ayotte (Millbury, MA), Aaron Becker (Natick, MA), Zach Collman (Dracut, MA), Sean Daly (Westfield, MA), Micah Haynes (Worcester, MA), Gavin Lepage (Auburn, ME), Brandel Orhin (Worcester, MA), Harley Philippe (Lowell, MA), Joe Sasso (Nassau, NY), Caleb Thompson (Sturbridge, MA), Nathan Winco (Sturbridge, MA), Sy’Air James (Stratford, CT) and Damian Mitchell (Lancaster, PA).
Worcester, MA- With an exciting win this past weekend over Mass. Maritime, the Worcester State Football team had sophomore Louie Freitas (Dartmouth, MA) named once again as the Special Teams Player of the Week.
Worcester, MA- In the final travel game of the 2025 season, the Worcester State Football team (2-6, 2-5) makes the trek to a former stopping ground of head coach Lazaro Mitjans Jr., travelling to Mass. Maritime to take on the Buccaneers.
Worcester, MA- Coming off a record setting weekend last weekend at home, the Worcester State Football team (2-5, 2-4) face off with top of the conference foe Anna Maria in their bid to match last season's win total, and take down another new conference addition in the AMCATs.
Worcester, MA- After a strong showing this past Saturday versus Dean College, junior MJ Bakaysa (Plainville, CT) was named the MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week after his first collegiate career start.
Worcester, MA- The Lancer Football team (1-5, 1-4) returns home today to match up with new conference addition, the Dean College Bulldogs. Worcester is looking to get back to their winning ways in the midday meeting.
Worcester, MA- After a stretch of home games the Worcester State Football team (1-4, 1-3) is back on the road this evening as they journey to Dartmouth to face off with the University of Massachusetts Corsairs.

Worcester, MA- After grabbing their first win of the season last weekend on homecoming, the Worcester State Football team(1-3, 1-2) was primed to repeat their success in another Saturday afternoon battle as they hosted Fitchburg State in just the Lancers second home game of the season.
Worcester, MA- After claiming their first win of the season in a thrilling Homecoming meeting versus Bridgewater State, the Worcester State Football team’s sophomore kicker and punter Louie Freitas (Dartmouth, MA) was selected the MASCAC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Worcester, MA- In a true Homecoming spirit, the Worcester State Football team (0-3, 0-2) kicks off their home slate of games today during the 2025 Worcester State University Homecoming. Worcester is hoping that the lack of bus and their home turf is just what has been missing to grab their first win in front of a packed house of supporters, families and alumni in the 2025 season home opener.
