    Westfield, Mass. — For the second straight year, Mat Gover of MCLA earned MASCAC Men’s Golf Player of the Year honors after finishing as the top overall finisher at the conference championship on Sunday, September 29. His performance also headlines this year’s All-Conference team.
  • Ryan Leads Men’s Golf at MASCAC Championship

    Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Golf team headed to Southwick this weekend to compete in the MASCAC conference championship. Worcester would claim the fifth place finish after two long days and a pause due to darkness to complete the 36 hole competition. Senior Jack Ryan (Wakefield, MA) would lead the Lancer recording a strong second day performance to grab the top spot for Worcester.
  • Golf Claims Second Place Behind Hurley and Ryan at Brett Williamson Invitational

    Worcester, MA- The Worcester State golf team, with one win already on their season, headed out to Tekoa Country Club in Westfield, MA to compete in the 2024 Brett Williamson Invitational. After a strong showing last week, the Lancers were set to go the distance in their last primer before the MASCAC Championships this weekend. The Lancers would claim the second-place finish at the Invitational with a score of 316.
  • Worcester State Cinches Season Opening Victory over RIC

    Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Golf team began their season this afternoon with a journey to Rhode Island College to take on the Anchormen in a prep match before the MASCAC Championships next week. The match would end in a 324-324 tie, with Worcester claiming the victory in the tiebreaker.
  • Lancers Golf Claims Fifth in Preseason Poll

    Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Golf team has been tapped fifth in the MASCAC Preseason Coaches Poll as voted on by the conference coaches. Junior Jon Gastonguay will look to lead the Lancers back to the top of the MASCAC this season after coming off an All-Conference showing last season.
