MASCAC Announces 2024 Winter/Spring All-Academic TeamJuly 09, 2024Westfield, MA — A total of 1,005 student-athletes have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Winter/Spring 2024 All-Academic team that was released earlier today by Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Stokes and Adu-Addo Named to USTFCCCA All-Region TeamMarch 12, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track and Field Team had two awarded USTFCCCA All-Region Team selections after stellar rookie seasons that saw them each set new school records in their respective event and qualify for participation at the New England DIII Regional Championships. First years Jadah Stokes (Savannah, GA) and Ciara Adu-Addo (Worcester, MA) were each selected after finishing in the top five in their region in their event.

Adu-Addo Leads Lancers to Set Top Marks as Pre-Postseason InvitationalFebruary 17, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track and Field competed in the final regular season meet at the Pre-Postseason Invitational hosted by Wheaton College. The meet is set as one of the final chances for individuals to hit qualifying marks for regional championships and the NCAA tournament.

Lancers Nab Three Top Finishes at Panther InviteFebruary 03, 2024Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track and Field team hit the competition trail for the final time before the square up in the MASCAC Indoor Championships next weekend. Looking to grab some last chance final qualifying marks, the Lancers were set to compete. They would be highlighted by three first place finishes on the day as first years Jadah Stokes (Savannah, GA) and Ciara Adu-Add0 (Worcester, MA) would grab the top spot along with junior Caroline Gilson (Grafton, MA), to spread their success across the event. Worcester would record a total of 51 points at the meet.

Lancers Grab Top Marks at Wesleyan Indoor InviteJanuary 27, 2024Worcester, MA- In just the second meet of 2024, the Worcester State Women’s Indoor Track and Field team has set the mark for their season. The team grabbed ten top 10 finishes at the Wesleyan Indoor Invite in Middletown, CT. First year Jadah Stokes (Savannah, GA) would repeat with her top finishes in the weight and shot that has seen her grab MASCAC Rookie of the Week three times this season.

Stokes Named MASCAC Rookie of the Week for Third Straight WeekJanuary 23, 2024Worcester, MA- In three meets on the season, the Worcester State Women’s Track and Field team’s first year Jadah Stokes (Savannah, GA) has come away with the MASCAC honor of Rookie of the Week. After a month-long break from action, Stokes returned to action on Saturday to compete in the Massasoit Classic at Springfield College.

Lancers Youth Shines at Massasoit ClassicJanuary 20, 2024Worcester, MA- After over a month away from competition, the Worcester State Lancers were back with a presence at the Massasoit Classic hosted by Springfield College. First year Jadah Stokes (Savanna, GA) continued her success in the field as sophomore Bridget O’Malley (Leominster, MA) made waves on the track. As a team, Worcester State recorded 53.50 points for a 5th place finish at the meet.

The Lancers looked to continue the success today at the Wesleyan Winter Invite as they closed out their 2023 Indoor Meet schedule. The Lancers were in dominant force once again as first year Jadah Stokes (Savannah, GA) again claimed top spots on the day.

Lancers Picked 3rd and 4th in MASCAC Preseason Track & Field Coaches PollNovember 29, 2023Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Track and Field teams were tabbed 3rd and 4th in this year?s MASCAC Preseason Coaches? Poll as voted on by the conference coaches. This year?s conference championship will be held on February 10 at Smith College after a hiatus post the 2021 cancelled season.
