Title: Assistant Coach

Mitch Bajema enters his third season as an assistant basketball coach and fifth overall with the program. He will assist with game day operations on the bench during the season.

Coach Bajema served as a graduate assistant coach for two seasons under Coach Lindberg while attaining his masters degree in Education.

While on the bench at Worcester State, Coach Bajema has helped guide the Lancers to five MASCAC Tournament appearances in each of the seasons that he has coached.

Prior to coming to WSU, Coach Bajema was a two-year starter at Assumption. A co-captain in his senior year, Coach Bajema helped lead the Greyhounds to a combined record of 47-21 and pair of NCAA Division II East Regional appearances in his final two campaigns.

Coach Bajema started in 31 out of a possbile 33 games in his final semester and he ended his career on Salisbury Street with 517 points. His 2007-08 squad lost in the NCAA Division II Regional Finals to Bentley and the 2008-09 team earned the Northeast-10 Tournament Championship crown.

In high school, Coach Bajema was on a pair of Whitinsville Christian teams that earned Central Massachusetts titles in 2004 and 2005 while the 2005 team won the Division 3 state championship.
