Title: Assistant Coach
After finishing his playing career for the Lancers, Tyler Dion joined the coaching staff in the Fall of 2020. His responsibilities include scouting, gameplanning, film breakdown, on-court coaching, and recruiting. 
 
Dion began his collegiate playing career at Nichols College, where he played for 2 seasons before finishing his career at Worcester State. He was a 2 time MASCAC All-Conference selection and helped lead the Lancers to the MASCAC Championship game in 2020. He finished his college career with 1,397 points. He is the all time leader in career three-point percentage (42.8%) and has the single season record for three-pointers made (76) and three point percentage (46.6%).
 
Tyler is a 2016 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, Mass. He competed in four years of varsity basketball for the Mountaineers, was a three-time league MVP and league all-star. MBCA Mr. Basketball in Massachusetts 2016. Finished as the second all-time leading scorer for Wachusett Regional High School.
 
Tyler is currently a Physical Education teacher at Burncoat High School in Worcester, and lives in Worcester.
