Shelby Stand
Title: Assistant Coach

Shelby Stand begins her fourth season as an assistant coach on the women's soccer team.

Coach Stand brings a wealth of knowledge from the forward position as she was a standout striker at Holy Cross.

The 2010 graduate finished her career fourth on Holy Cross' All-Time goals list with 28 markers while she is also fifth in points (67). Coach Stand also was a three-time All-Patriot league First-Team selection and a two-time captain.

In 2009, Coach Stand posted her finest season as she led the Crusaders with 10 markers. En route to being named an All-NEWISA Second-Team honoree and earning All-NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Third-Team accolades, she finished the year second in the Patriot League in average shots, goals per game, points per contest and match clinching tallies.

A five-year starter and three-year captain at Douglas High, she set the school record for the most goals in a season with 41 as a senior. Coach Stand also was an All-Conference and a Central Mass All-Star for four years and she was an All-State and Worcester Telegram & Gazette All-Star for three seasons.

Coach Stand helped lead Douglas to the Division 3 Massachusetts State Championship in 2002.
