    Worcester, MA --- Sophomore guard Alexis George has been named to the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Basketball First-Team as announced this afternoon by conference publicist Jim Seavey. The vote was taken by each of the conferences seven head coaches earlier this week.

In last place, the Lancers went on to win their remaining five conference games and earned themselves a fourth seed and coveted home-game in the first round of the tournament against fifth seeded MCLA this Tuesday evening.

    Salem, MA --- Sophomore Alexis George notched a game-high 20 points while junior Reilly O’Keefe tallied 20 points as Worcester State defeated Salem State 67-62, in MASCAC action this evening at Salem’s O’Keefe Center. The win was their first for the Lancers in 16 years in Salem.

    Worcester, MA --- Sophomore guard Alexis George has been selected Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after she helped lead Worcester State to a 2-0 week with a pair of conference victories over Fitchburg State and Worcester State. George was also tabbed to the New England Women’s Basketball Association Team of the Week on the honor roll.

In addition to entertaining the Fighting Scots, the Lancers will be holding a “Math Madness” event for local area elementary school’s that will allow the students to enrich their math skills through basketball.

Senior guard Dani Dudek posted a triple-double on 18 points, 11 boards and 10 assists to help lead Stevens Institute to its seventh-straight win of the season.

WSC sophomore Alexis George tallied a game-high 18 points in the loss.

    Worcester, MA --- Clark forward Jillian Camilleri notched a double-double, scoring 13 points and pulling down 12 rebounds, to lead Clark to a 64-48 victory over Worcester State an opening round contest of the Worcester City Tournament. With the win, Clark earns a trip to Saturday's 4pm championship game against host WPI.
