Worcester, MA- Worcester State Men’s Soccer first year, Brady Iovanni (Lunenburg, MA), was named Rookie of the Week for the MASCAC after a dominant performance in their game on Saturday against conference rival Westfield State.

Iovanni scored the game winning goal and recorded the assist on the second goal in the 2-0 victory for Worcester State. The goal was the first of the season for the first year who has seen action in each of the Lancers games this season. He currently had 6 points on the season for Worcester State. Iovanni was named to the honorable mention squad for his performance last week for Worcester State.

Being recognized as an honorable mention this week is junior Manny Ramirez (Waltham, MA) who had a goal and two assists in the undefeated week for the Lancers. Ramirez supplied the assist to Iovanni’s game winner and secured his own goal and assist in a 2-0 win over Curry.
