Alex Wolfel enters his third season as an assistant coach of the men's soccer team, after a standout career wearing the Lancer uniform.

Coach Wolfel was a three-time All-MASCAC selection as he wrapped up his career fifth in the record book in goals (30) while he is sixth in both assists (16) and points (6th).

In his senior semester, the club captured the MASCAC Regular Season Championship with an unbeaten record (6-0-1) as Coach Wolfel shared the conference lead in assists (8) and he was second overall in points (30).

While at Worcester State, Coach Wolfel helped lead the team to the ECAC Division III Tournament quarterfinals as a sophomore in 2011 and the semifinals in 2013 during his final campaign wearing a Blue and Gold uniform.
