Kwadwo Frempong enters his fourth year as an assistant coach of the Worcester State men’s soccer team.

Coach Frempong came to the Lancer sidelines after he was an assistant boy’s soccer coach at Bartlett High school during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. While at for his alma mater in Webster, Frempong was responsible for training both the varsity and junior varsity goalkeepers.

Coach Frempong graduated from Division II Limestone in 2008 with his degree in Physical Education and Sports Management with minors in Coaching and Business. As a varsity men’s soccer midfielder in 2006, he helped his squad reach the NCAA Division II Sweet 16, capture the Carolina-Virginia Conference Tournament Championship as the team earned a final ranking of 19th in the NSCAA Division II coaches poll.

While attending Limestone, Coach Frempong had consecutive stints as an intern and student assistant coach as he primarily worked in the offseason with both the women’s program in 2007 and the men’s program in 2008. Coach Frempong also has experience developing younger talent as he worked with the Cherokee County U-12 team in 2008.
