Worcester, MA --- Worcester State College senior forward
Tiffany Rotatori (Auburn, MA) has been named as a
starting forward for the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer
Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl on Sunday, December 7 at Salem
State College. The contest will kick-off at 11 AM.
Rotatori ended her senior season as the Lancers's all-time leading
goal-scorer with 45 markers. She broke the original mark of 42 set
by Melissa Crowley, who played from 1993-97. Rotatori also finished
her career second in the record book in career points with 98. Her
single season mark of goals (15) and points (34) are also good for
the second-highest single season totals in program history.
Rotatori finished the year tied for third in the Massachusetts
State College Athletic Conference in goals with 15 while she also
dished out four assists. Rotatori was tabbed for All-MASCAC honors
for the second-straight year after she was named to the all MASCAC
first-team earlier this month and to the second-team in her junior
semester. Rotatori also earned the distinction of being named
MASCAC Player of the Week twice this past year.
Worcester State College ended the 2008 campaign with an 11-5-1
record with first-year head coach Kevin
Cumberbatch at the helm. The Lancers ended their season
with a 1-0 loss to Bridgewater State in the MASCAC Semifinals.
Rotatori is joined by forward Kaitlin Lamothe, of
Bridgewater, as the other representative from the MASCAC.
