Worcester State 6, MCLA 3
North Adams, MA --- Brittney Cullen (Milford, MA), Albana Xhemollari (Worcester, MA), Nicole Sellner (N. Attleboro, MA) and Amy Mach (Springfield, MA) posted singles victories for Worcester State as the Lancers defeated MCLA this afternoon, 6-3. WSC improves their record to 2-5 while the Trailblazers slip to 1-8.
Janeil Vajcovec (Webster, MA) teamed up with Ashley Perkins (Worcester, MA) while Sellner paired up with Jessica Sargent (Clinton, MA) to take second (8-0) and third doubles (8-3), respectively.
MCLA's wins consisted of Jennifer Paskowski (Pittsfield, MA) and Carrie Richards (Ludlow, MA) notching second and third singles, respectively, while Melanie Katcher (Sharon, MA) and Paskowski won their first doubles matchup, 8-5.
Worcester State will face off against Anna Maria on Monday at 3:30 while MCLA will finish its season with Lyndon State on Saturday.
