Boston, MA --- Sophomore Mara Kralian (N. Grafton, MA) blazed the track with a season-best time of 29.41 in the 200 meter dash as the women's indoor track team began their weekend at the non scoring Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University. Kralian was the second-highest Division III finisher in 29th.
The Lancers competed on the banked track at BU to help get some good times for seeding in two weeks for the MASCAC Championships.
Behind Kralian was junior Sarah Rafferty (Uxbrige, MA) in 49th with a time of 27.14 as freshman Heidi Bezemes-Turner (Beverly, MA) added 58th (27.81).
Junior Maura Withington (W. Palm Beach, FL) registred 52nd in the 800 (2:33.67) while junior Erin Donohue (Saugus, MA) finished 58th in the mile (5:31.18).
The women's squad will compete again this afternoon at the MIT Invitational.
