Women's Cross Country Places 19th At UMass Dartmouth Shriner Invitational

North Dartmouth, MA --- Junior classmates Brittany Grueter (Foxboro, MA) and Erin Donohue (Saugus, MA) both posted solid times with 60th (20:11) and 79th place (29:28), respectively, to help lead Worcester State to a 19th place finish at the UMass Dartmouth Shiners Invitational this afternoon.

The Lancers had the highest finish in the conference – edging out Bridgewater State's tally of 23rd place – on the course that will be run for next month's MASCAC Championships.

Junior Meg Plant (Franklin, MA) crossed the line in 112th followed by sophomore Ali Barrett (Hingham, MA) who timed 128th (21:02) while classmates Jenna Pickard (Peabody, MA) came in 175th (21:52) and Alison Hickey (Easton, MA) added 193rd (22:27).

Worcester State will compete again next week at the Worcester City Championships which will be held at Moore State Park in Paxton, MA.
