WORCESTER, Mass. – After being named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year, freshman forward Bryan Brasil (Williamsburg, Mass.) was tabbed the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Men's Soccer Division III New England Rookie of the Year for his striking performance in his debut season with the Worcester State University Lancers.

"Bryan is a special player that any team would be lucky to have," stated head coach Jason Willis. "Not only is he a very talented plyer, he is one of the hardest working players on the team."

Brasil posted 25 points in his first collegiate season, recording 10 goals and five assists in 18 games played. The 2015 MASCAC Rookie of the Year finished the year ranked in the top three in all major offensive categories.

"I would like to thank my team and my coaching staff for always supporting me and pushing me to perform at my best," said Brasil. "I could not have done it without them."

"We expect big things from Bryan in the next three years," said Willis.

Sean Bingham from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology earned Offensive Player of the Year honors, with Amir Pasic of Castleton University taking home the award for Defensive Player of the Year. Ken Bovell (MIT) was selected as the 2015 ECAC DIII New England Coach of the Year.
