Relay Teams Lead Men's Outdoor Track At ECAC Division III Championships

Bethlehem, MA --- Both the 4x400 and 4x100 relay teams earned All-ECAC honors while sophomore Andrew Johnson (Thompson, CT) had a leap of eighth in the high jump (1.86 meters) as the Worcester State men's outdoor track and field team placed 44th at the ECAC Division III Championships hosted by Morvarian College.

The 4x400 team which was comprised of freshmen classmates Ramses Rafael (Lawrence, MA), Devlin Crawford (Randolph, MA), sophomore Jon Parrella (Wilmington, MA) and senior RJ Stahelski clocked eighth (3:19.41) as they reset the school mark they set last week at the Open New England's (3:21.02).

The 4x100 squad of Crawford and classmate Julius White (Boston, MA) along wtih second-year Todd Paquin (Pelham, NH) and Julio Arzu (Lynn, MA) placed sixth with a time of 43.17.

Stahelski also timed 13th in the 400 (49.78) while Maciel added 21st in the 400 meter hurdles (56.73).

The Lancers finished the meet with 4.50 team points in their last competition of the season
