Women's Golf Opens Season Against Suffolk

SUTTON, Mass. - The Worcester State University women's golf team fell short on Sunday afternoon in a dual match against Suffolk University at Blackstone National Golf Club.

Suffolk recorded a team score of 339, while Worcester State combined for 523.

Worcester State was led by Julianna Martinelli (Auburn, Mass.), who carded a score of 125. She was followed closely by senior Gigi LeMay (Grafton, Mass.), who handed in a score of 127.

Sophomore Molly Cutting (Auburn, Mass.) recorded a score of 131. Rounding out Worcester State's scores was first-year Allyson Graves (Pascoag, R.I.) with a 140.
