Buzzards Bay, MA --- Senior forward Dave Douillette (Bridgewater, MA) has been selected to the second-team of this year's All-MASCAC team after a vote by the leagues seven head coaches.
Douillette, who started in all 26 games for the Lancers, had an outstanding season for the Blue and Gold as he led the team in scoring (13.7 PPG) and rebounding (8.1 RPG).
Through last night's games, Douillette is ranked third in the MASCAC in total (211) and average rebounding, fourth in average and total scoring (357) as he is also fifth in free throw percentage (.756).
Douillette finished the season second in the league in average minutes (32.2 MPG) while he was third in average both defensive boards (5.2) and offensive rebounding (2.9).
One of seven forwards on this year's all MASCAC squad, Douillette finishes his career with 800 career points and 488 caroms as he shot a modest 42.5 percent for his career from the field (140-for-327).
Under the guidance of 17th year head coach Dave Lindberg, Worcester State finished the year at 6-20 and 4-8 in MASCAC play. The Lancers season ended in the first-round of the conference tournament in an 88-77 setback to Bridgewater State on Tuesday.
