Douillette Receives Nod to D3hoops.com All-Northeast Team

Worcester, MA --- Senior Dave Douillette (Bridgewater, MA) has been selected as one of 20 players from New England to be honored on this year's D3hoops.com All-Northeast Third Team. The accolade wraps up an outstanding career for Douillette who led the Lancers in points (13.7) and rebounds (8.1) this past season.

Douillette was only one of three players on his all-conference second team to earn All-Northeast Honors. 

As of the end of the season, Douillette was in the top ten in several categories in the MASCAC. He was third in average rebounding and total boards (211), sixth in average points, seventh in total points (357) and fifth in free throw percentage (.756 – 62-for-82). Douillette also had the third-most minutes in the conference (32.2 MPG) as he was third in offensive (2.9 – 75) and defensive (3.2 – 135) caroms.

Douillette also paced the Blue and Gold with seven double-doubles including a 27 point – 10 rebound performance in a setback to conference tournament Bridgewater State in the first round of the MASCAC playoffs.

Douillette ended his four-year career as a Lancer with 800 career points and 488 caroms as he connected for a modest 42.5 percent for his career from the field (140-for-327).

The other representatives from the MASCAC included Brian Clark (Deerfield, MA) of Salem State and Corey Connor (E. Providence, RI) of Bridgewater State.

Under the guidance of 17th year head coach Dave Lindberg, Worcester State finished the season at 6-20 and 4-8 in conference play.
