Coach Steiner is entering his fifth year on Head Coach Dave Lindberg's men's basketball staff.

Coach Steiner is an accomplished basketball coach in central Massachusetts. After playing and graduating from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, he matriculated to Assumption College where he played basketball for Joe O’Brien. Steiner graduated from Assumption in 1981.

Coach Steiner joined the Assumption College basketball staff for the 2000-2001 season and was part of a tremendous turnaround the following season as the Greyhounds improved from a 9-17 record in 2000-2001 to 24-6 in 2001-2002 where they were ranked first in the NE-10 and reached the NCAA Sweet 16.

From 2002-2004, Coach Steiner was the head basketball coach at the Bancroft School before taking the helm of the Becker College Hawks.

Coach Steiner is the owner of Steiner Sign Company and is has been married for 23 years to his wife Cathy. The couple has 4 sons; Franz, John, Kurt and Erich.
