Worcester, MA- In the opening weekend of the Men's Indoor Track and Field Season, the team grabbed two weekly honors and a top national ranking from junior Brodie Jacques (Rehoboth, MA). The lancers opened their qualifier season at the Mary Grinaker Invitational at Smith College where Jacques ended the day with two first place finishes.
Jacques had two first place finishes at his first indoor meet with a top billing in the long jump with a top leap of 6.69m, good enough for 22nd nationally. Claimed his first indoor sprint win with a 7.08 second 60m sprint that saw him sailing into first as the lone finals round qualifier for the Lancers in the event.
The Lancers are back in action this Saturday, December 9th, when they travel to the Wesleyan Winter Invite.
