Men's Cross Country Places 27th at James Earley Invitational

 

Westfield, MA --- Junior Pat Daley (Millbury, MA) finished in 174th position out of 430 runners with a time of 29:48 to help Worcester State to a 27th overall finish out of 40 competing schools this afternoon at the James Earley Invitational held at Stanley Park.

Senior Tim Mazeika (Millbury, MA) finished just three competitors behind as he timed 29:51 for the Lancers.

Sophomore Adam Pepin (Paxton, MA) recorded a 212th place finish as he punched the clock at the 30:20 mark, and senior Connor O'Neill (Dudley, MA) was just ten seconds off and landed in 223rd position.

Freshman Brendan Blair (Tewksbury, MA) finished with a time of 30:38 grasping 235th place while sophomore Patrick Bova (Princeton, MA) trailed 14 seconds back and in the 245th spot.

WSU Senior Kerry Sabanty (Stoughton, MA) rounded out the group as he crossed the line at the 31:34 mark giving him 279th place.

The Blue and Gold will compete in the Western New England University Invitational next week which is held at their campus course.
