Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men's Cross Country had a late afternoon meet Saturday, traveling to Suffolk University for the Suffolk Invitational. The Lancers were coming out fresh with a 2:30pm start for the day's meet.

Senior Matt Talbot (Belchertown, MA) was again the top runners for the Lancers, crossing in a time of 30:15 to be the 168^th runner across on the brisk fall day. Just barely off the pace was first year Jacksen Bolduc (Auburn, MA) who crossed in the 170^th spot with a time of 30:21. Just over a minute behind would see Alex Matasuyasu (Newton, MA) finished in a time of 31:46 as the 196^th runner to cross the tape. A minute off the pace was sophomore Andrew Stokes who recorded a time of 32:31 in the 209^th position.

The Lancers will return to action on Friday October 27^th, when they compete in the MASCAC Championship to be held in Deven, MA. Their currently scheduled race time is 1:30pm.
