WORCESTER, Mass. - Worcester State University senior Mya Mosley (Worcester, Mass.) received a pair of regional honors on Tuesday morning.
Mosley was named both Worcester Area College Basketball Association Women's Player of the Week and to the New England Women's Basketball Association Weekly Honor Roll.
Despite a pair of narrow MASCAC losses, Mosley was stellar for the Lancers last week, averaging 26.5 points per game. The senior started the week with 23 points, eight rebounds, and four assists against Westfield State on Wednesday, before putting up 30 points, seven rebounds, three steals, and two assists against Framingham State on Saturday.
Mosley and the Lancers will return to action on Wednesday for a key late season MASCAC matchup with Salem State. Tipoff from John P. Brissette Court is slated for 5:30 p.m.
