Holyoke, MA --- Senior Alyssa Jasper (Rockland, MA) finished with a game-best 12 kills with two aces and a pair of digs as she helped lead Worcester State to a 3-0 victory over Bay Path in non-conference women's volleyball action on Tuesday evening.
The Lancers (11-2) dispatched the Wildcats (2-9) in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-15 and 25-18.
The offensive attack was also paced by senior Ali Remigio (Tewksbury, MA), junior Meghan Deighan (Lynnfield, MA), sophomore Jamika Townsend (Virginia Beach, VA) and freshman Quinn Donovan (Marion, MA) all registered three kills each.
Townsend and senior Amanda Lewis (Poughkeepsie, NY) combined for 26 assists while junior classmates Jennifer Cabral (Swansea, MA) and Kaylee Leduc (Swansea, MA) together tallied nine digs.
First-year Megan Rouillard (Barrington, MA) notched a trio of aces to help the Blue and Gold end the contest with 12 as a squad.
Jasper is now just nine kills away from the coveted 1,000 milestone.
Worcester State continues its schedule on Thursday with a 7 PM matchup against Becker in nearby Leicester.
