Nine Tabbed To All-NEFC All-Academic Team

Boston, MA ---  Nine Worcester State student-athletes have been named to the 2010 New England Football Conference All-Academic Team.

To be selected to the team one must have completed at least three semesters at the same institution with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.

The honoree's on this year's squad include senior's Brennan Green (Brimfield, MA), David Harris (Milford, MA), Tyler Russell (Princeton, MA) and Gil Ynostroza (Billerica, MA), juniors Edward Donovan (Tewksbury, MA), DJ Martin (West Mendon, MA), Cliff Oratakhai (Worcester, MA/South) and Adam Peloquin (Spencer, MA) as Adam Straughn (Rockland, MA) was the lone sophomore.

Martin and Peloquin were both distinguished last season while Green, Russell and Ynostroza have each received the nod three times.

Nearly 250 total student-athletes were recognized from the conferences sixteen schools as MIT had the most with 28 followed by Plymouth State (24) and Coast Guard (22).
