
Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Men’s Ice Hockey team has two named to All-Conference Awards that were voted on by the MASCAC head coaches. Senior Mikey Wilson (Alexandria, VA) was named to the second team while head coach Bob Deraney was named BSN Sports Co-Coach of the Year.
Bob Deraney of Worcester State have been named the 2022-23 BSN Sports Men’s Ice Hockey Co-Coach of the Year. Deraney guided the Lancers to a 12-5-1 mark and second seed in the tourney in his second season at the helm. The 12 win season was the first time in program history that the Lancers have won 10 or more MASCAC games in a single season.
Wilson was named a second team All-Conference forward selection after his commanding season of play for Worcester State. He recorded 26 points on the season with 13 goals and 13 assists and two hat tricks on the season. In just his second season with the Lancers, Wilson has recorded a total of 19 goals and 19 assists for 38 career points.
