Worcester, MA- Worcester State Men’s Cross Country first year, James Riley (Shrewsbury, MA), was named Rookie of the Week for the MASCAC for the second week in a row after a strong finish in their race on Saturday at the James Earley Invitational.
Riley finished with a new personal best time of 28:06.4 in the 8k race as the first Lancer across the finish line at Stanley Park in the pre glimpse of this year’s MASCAC Championship Course.
Riley and the Men’s Cross-Country team are back to the races on Saturday when they take part in the Connecticut College Invitational and Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT.
