Worcester, MA- In the final ECHA Players of the Week, Worcester State Women's Ice Hockey's Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) claims the ECHA Goalie of the Week honor.
Czerniawski earned a 21 save shutout victory over the AMCATS of Anna Maria College on Friday afternoon in Worcester. Czerniawski performance included a 12-save second period and a perfect 5-for-5 performance on the penalty kill.
The Lancers return to action on Friday at 2:40pm, when they host the #4 seed MCLA Trailblazers in the ECHA Semifinal Game 1 at the Fidelity Bank Ice Center.
