SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The women's indoor track & field team saw top performances from Abigail Danso (Worcester, Mass.), Courtney Guay (Londonderry, N.H.), Hannah LoChiatto (Harvard, Mass.), and Asgerdur Jana Agustsdottir (Akureyi, Iceland) on Saturday at the Springfield College Maroon & White Classic.

RECAP

The Worcester State women's indoor track & field team had four 1^st place finishes at the Springfield College Maroon & White Classic.

The Lancers' Danso came in 1^st in the 60 Meter Hurdles and topped her 9.19 mark with a 9.14 personal record at today's meet. Danso is currently qualified for both Division III New England's and All New England's. She currently stands at 13^th place in all of Division III and is 6^th on the New England performance list.

The Lancers saw a top performance from Guay who finished 1^st in the 600 Meter Run in a time of 1:47.66. Corcoran came in just behind her in the same event with a time of 1:49.65 which was good for a personal record.

Worcester State's LoChiatto, Agustsdottir and Mensah led the Lancers in the jump events. LoChiatto placed 1^st in the high jump with a personal record of 1.62m. With this result, she presently stands at 13th nationally in the event. Agustsdottir came in 1^st in the long jump with a personal record of 5.01m and also came in 4^th place in the 60 Meter Hurdles. With her top jump in the long jump, Agustsdottir qualified for Division III New England's in the event. Mensah logged a 2^nd place finish in the long jump (4.99m), 5^th place in the triple jump (9.66m), and 6^th place in both the 60 Meter Dash (8.19) and 200 Meter Dash (27.53).

Worcester State's Rouillard posted a personal record in the shot put at 9.82m.
