WORCESTER, Mass. -  Worcester State’s freshman Haley Moss (Melrose, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women’s indoor track & field rookie of the week, as announced by the conference Monday afternoon.

This past Saturday, Moss picked up a personal record in the high jump at 1.60m, at the Tufts Final Qualifying Meet.

"Haley finally put it all together, and had great speed in her approached and cleared a PR," said head coach Andrea Ouellette. "It gives her a lot of confidence and momentum heading into the outdoor season."

The women’s outdoor track & field season will begin in two weeks when they travel to Bridgewater State for the Bridgewater Invitational on Saturday, March 25.
