Perfetti Tabbed NEFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Boston, MA --- Freshman placekicker Erich Perfetti (Shrewsbury, MA) has been named this week's New England Football Conference (NEFC) Special Teams Player of the Week after his performance last Friday in Worcester State's 32-29 win over Nichols.

Perfetti connected on all three of his extra point attempts while he also booted the game-winning points in the form of a 32-yard field goal that was the difference in their triumph over the Bison. He also averaged 51.3 yards on six kickoffs to add a boost to the special teams coverage unit.

Perfetti is currently 5-for-5 on PATs and the 32-yard field goal is the only one he has tried thus far this season. He is fourth on the team with eight points.

The 2-1 Lancers look to open up NEFC Bogan Division play with a win as their first opponent will be Westfield State at home on Saturday at 1:30.
