
N. Dartmouth, MA --- Senior Amanda Turnbull (Leicester, MA) joins sophomore classmates Krissy Kenney (Rehoboth, MA) and Megan Ripke (Agawam, MA) as part of the Little East All-Academic Team as announced by league publicist Jack Holleran.
Turnbull receives the honor for the second-straight season while Kenney and Ripke are being recognized for the first time.
To earn a spot of the Fall All-Academic Team, student-athletes must be enrolled within their institution for a full academic year, be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 and be a full time member of a varsity sport.
Under the direction of second-year head coach Chris Pothier, the Lancers (12-9) earned their first berth in the Little East Tournament playoffs since 2011-12 and were participants in the ECAC Division III New England Tournament.
The squad captured their first-ever ECAC Tournament victory in a 2-1 overtime triumph over Smith before falling to eventual champion Plymouth State in the semifinals.
