
Worcester, MA- For the second week in a row Worcester State's Men's Basketball had a selection to the MASCAC Weekly honors. Junior Aaron Nkrumah (Worcester, MA) was selected, for the second time, as the MASCAC Player of the Week after a standout week for the Lancers.
Nkrumah averaged 23.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, four assists, 3.5 steals and 0.5 blocks in a 1-1 week for the Lancers. He finished with a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds plus three steals in the 63-55 win over Emerson. Additionally, netted 21 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals and a block in the 79-69 setback to Wesleyan (Conn.). This season, Nkrumah has already recorded 166 points, 69 rebounds with 26 assists and 21 steals. Saturday's game was his third double-double of the season.
Worcester State is back in action on Wednesday when they travel to Regis College for a 7pm tip-off before returning home on Saturday to face Lasell at 3pm.
