Men's Indoor Track Sets Relay Mark At ECAC Championships

New York, NY --- The 4x400 meter relay team of freshmen Devlin Crawford (Randolph, MA), Ramses Rafael (Lawrence, MA), Kevin Maciel (Tewksbury, MA) and RJ Stahelski (S. Deerfield, MA) placed ninth with a school-record time of 3:20.96 to help lead the men's indoor track and field team at the ECAC Division III Championships held at the NYC Armory.

The team has reset the mark for the third time since the MASCAC Championships held nearly a month ago. The time was also .45 hundreths of a second from earning All-ECAC honors. In the 4x400 relay, the squad had the third-highest finish among New England teams competing.

Stahelski anchored the squad with a split of 48.90 while Crawford started off the race with a 49.96. Maciel and Rafael were not to far off as they both clocked a 50.91 and a 50.95, respectively.

Sophomore Harrison McCann (Rutland, MA) was the lone individual competitor for the Lancers as he finished in 27th in the weight throw (14.68 meters).

Worcester State did not finish with any team scoring while Buffalo State earned the 2010-11 ECAC Division III Indoor title.
