Bottom of second, Worcester State would see two more runs brought home by another junior Carisa Andrews (Medford, MA) and sophomore Cali Brouillard (Millbury, MA) , thanks to a single hit from senior Emma Lanpher (Charlton, MA), where she would then score herself, giving the Lancers a 4 run lead. Junior Bella Gasbarro (Leominster, MA) would double to center field giving Abigail Koziol (Lunenburg, MA) the room to score, putting the board at 6-1.

Third inning would be uneventful for both teams, however, the bottom of fourth would bring another run in for the Lancers by a triple to the right field from Keefe, who would go to score a run of her own 8-1. Bridgewater would create their second run of the game top of inning five as they tried to bridge the gap, yet still fell 6 runs behind. The sixth inning would see no runs from either team, leading us to the final inning where Bridgewater would be unable to make a comeback, ending the game as a victory for the Lancers 8-2.

Sophomore pitcher Peyton Maloney (West Boylston, MA) would record her career 100th strikeout in the complete game win.

The second game in this double header would see the first full diamond in the second inning from Worcester State, however we would go into the third inning not having yet seen a run from either team. Top of the third, the Bears would score the first run of the game, following it up by two more to grab the 3-0 lead. Awarded walks to both Keefe and junior Amanda Adamuska (Dudley, MA) with catcher interference to senior Jordan Geloso (Rutland, MA), Worcester State would once again have all three bases loaded, but would not find the opportunity to make their first run.

At the top of the fourth, Bridgewater would see to another run further widening the gap for Worcester State. Determined to close the gap, Worcester State would score two runs brought home by Brouillard and Lanpher in the bottom of the fourth. Keefe would complete another round of the bases, cutting the gap to just one run. A batted single from Adamuska gave Andrews the needed room to bridge the gap, evening the score board 4-4.

Worcester State would take back the lead in the fifth inning, following a run made by junior Camden Heenan (Webster, MA). The board would remain unchanged by both teams for the sixth inning. The final inning, Bridgewater would manage a run, tying the board once more, forcing Worcester State onto the bat.
