5 Named to MASCAC All-Conference Teams

Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Lacrosse team had five named to this years MASCAC All-Conference Team selections voted on by the coaches. The selections were led by graduate student attacker Clare Conway (Billerica, MA) in her second season as a first team selection and senior attacker Shea Jarvis (Auburn, MA) with her first selection to the MASCAC first team.

Earning a spot on the 2023 MASCAC First Team with Conway and Jarvis is Delaney Langton of Bridgewater State, Regan Fein, Maggie Grout and Hannah Guerin of Framingham State, Cassie Llewellyn of Mass. Maritime, Kara Banagan, Emma Cretella, Olivia Hadla, Paige Jelliffe and Victoria Paine of Westfield State.  

Named to this year’s second team was first year attacker Mckayla Fisher (Peabody, MA), senior midfielder Lily Gendron (Lakeville, MA) and for the second year in a row senior goalie Savanna Rosado (Milford, MA). Joining them on the second team are Camryn Gonsalves, Erin McIntyre of Bridgewater State, Grace Wetherbee and Jessica St. George of Fitchburg State, Rachel Erickson of Framingham State, Taylor Sujko of Salem State, Cassidy Connolly, Victoria Paine and Lindsey Panneton of Westfield State.

On attack, Conway ended her season with 54 goals and 20 assists for a Worcester State career high of 74 points. Over her career Conway recorded over 300 points, 200 goals and 100 assists. Jarvis recorded 47 goals and 20 assists for 67 points on the season, recording a career 106 goals and 142 points. Fisher concluded her first season of play with 28 goals and 22 assists for 50 points. In midfield, Gendron recorded 95 goals with 13 assists for 38 points. She also recorded 56 ground balls and 70 draw controls. She wrapped up her career records with 130 points and 168 draw controls with 148 ground balls. On the defensive end, Rosado recorded an 11.13 GAA, recording 176 saves for a 48.5% save percentage. She concludes her career with a 10.95 GAA and 392 saves for a 50.6% save percentage.

The Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference, the nation’s first Division III men’s and women’s playing conference, has a rich and storied tradition of competitive success while celebrating excellence in the classroom. MASCAC member schools include Bridgewater State University, Fitchburg State University, Framingham State University, MCLA, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Salem State University, Westfield State University and Worcester State University. Two other institutions, the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Plymouth State University, are affiliate members of the conference in the sports of football and men’s ice hockey, while Western Connecticut State University joined the conference as a football affiliate member in 2013 and Castleton in 2024. Dean College, Eastern Nazarene College, Elms College, Mitchell College, and Springfield College joined as men’s golf affiliates in 2019 and New England College in 2021.
