WORCESTER, Mass. – Hannah LoChiatto (Harvard, Mass.) has earned her third consecutive Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's indoor track & field rookie of the week award, as announced by the league Monday (Jan. 29) afternoon.
This past weekend at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts University, LoChiatto tied for second place in the high jump with a height of 1.59m/5-02.50.
"Hannah is certainly on a roll and becoming very comfortable with attempting higher heights," mentioned head coach Andrea Ouellette. "For a freshman to be working as hard as she is, and to have that recognized is a very impressive feat."
LoChiatto currently holds a personal record of 1.62m/5-3.75 which she met at the Springfield College Maroon & White Classic on Jan. 20. With this marking, she stands at 1st in the MASCAC, 6th in Division III New England and 19th in all of NCAA Division III.
