Worcester, MA --- Junior Kara Antrim has been named as this week's Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Female Runner of the Week after her performance this past weekend at Worcester City Meet.

Antrim, who hails from Rowley, MA, took third for the Lancers with a time of 21:25, just 55 seconds off the lead, in the five kilometer race. She aided her team as WSC finished in third out of the five teams in attendance.

Antrim shaved off one minute and improved upon her sixth place finish last season at the Worcester City meet.

Worcester State will hit the trail again when they visit CCRI for the Tri-States Invitational on Saturday.
