Worcester, MA- Worcester State Men's Basketball first year, Aaron Nkrumah (Worcester, MA), was named Player of the Week for the MASCAC after a stellar performance in both games this week for the Lancers.
Nkrumah averaged 19.5 points, 8 re-bounds, 3 blocks, 3 steals and 1.5 assists in a 2-0 week for the Lancers. Nkrumah recorded a 41.9 shotting percentage over the two games going 13-31. He finished with 23 points, six rebounds, three blocks and two assists and steals in their 83-60 victory over Westfield State on Saturday. He recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four steals, three blocks and an assist in the 72-67-win Wednesday versus Bridgewater State. Nkrumah has 247 total points on the season and has recorded 105 rebounds, 32 assists, 17 blocks and 36 steals in his first season with Worcester State.
