Czerniawski Claims Fifth MASCAC Goalie of the Week Honor

Worcester, MA- For the fifth time this season junior Kelsey Czerniawski (Chicopee, MA) has claimed the honor of MASCAC Goalie of the Week. This week's honor comes after a week off from their last game as the Worcester State Women's Ice Hockey team headed to #3 Amherst for a non-conference meeting.

Czerniawski recorded her 1,000th career save in a 72 save performance in the Lancers' 4-0 setback to #3 Amherst in her lone game of the week. Currently has the third-most single game saves in DIII. On her season, Czerniawski has recorded 328 saves for a .953 save percentage and 2.19 goals against average.

The Women's Ice Hockey team is back in action tomorrow as they host Framingham State at 7:20pm.
