    WORCESTER, Mass. – Westfield State’s senior defender, Katy Knight (Woburn, Mass.) scored the Owls game-winning goal against the Worcester State University Lancers to entitle Westfield State to the 2015 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Tournament Champions in a battle between the No. 1 seeded Lancers, and the No. 2 seeded Owls. Knight was named the tournament MVP for her goal that edged the Owls over the Lancers.

    WORCESTER, Mass. – After a scoreless first half, the Worcester State Lancers came out striking in the second, as senior Alicia Macomber (Stoughton, Mass.) freshman Nikki DiPilla (Sterling, Mass.), and junior Kendal Bergenholtz (Grafton, Mass.) came through with three Lancers goals for the 3-0 win in the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) semifinal game against the Framingham State Rams on Friday (Nov. 6) at John F. Coughlin Field.

    WORCESTER, Mass. —UMass Dartmouth finished off a 2-1 victory over the Lancers on a cold, wet night. The Lancers fell to 9-4-2 on the year while the Corsairs rose to 6-5-2 on the season. Alicia Macomber (Stoughton, Mass.) was a solid bright spot for Worcester State as she tallied her 39th goal of her career (eighth on the season). The goal makes Macomber third all-time in the history books for career goals.

The Lancers prevailed 2-0 as Tsara LeBlanc (Gardner, Mass.) and Alicia Macomber (Stoughton, Mass.) each netted second half goals to carry the Lancers to victory.

    NORTH ADAMS, Mass.- The visiting Worcester State women's soccer team received goals from three different players as they remained unbeaten in conference play with a 3-0 victory over MCLA at Shewcraft Field. The Lancers are now 3-0-1 (6-4-2 overall) in the MASCAC, while the Trailblazers drop to 0-4 in the conference (1-10 overall).
