Worcester, MA- The Worcester State Women’s Soccer team had one selected for this week’s MASCAC Weekly Honors. First year Emma Jacob (Billerica, MA) was the MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the first time this season after scoring a goal in the Lancers 5-1 win over Salem State.
Jacob netted the opening goal of the game in the 16’ minute to get the Lancers off in rolling in their battle game for third seed in the conference. This was the second straight game with a goal for Jacob, as she notched her first collegiate goal on October 14th versus Framingham State.
The Lancers are back in action on Tuesday October 24th, when they travel to UMass-Dartmouth for a 7pm start before returning home on Friday the 27th to host their final regular season game of the season and honor the members of their senior class.
