WORCESTER, Mass. - Are you a Lancer alumni that would like buy your old jersey? Maybe you know someone that played for the Lancers and would like their old uniform? Don’t miss your chance to buy classic Lancer apparel as the Worcester State University Athletics Department hosts the Lancers “Blowout” Apparel Sale.
The sale is scheduled for Thursday and Friday, April 28th and 29th and will be held outside, between the Athletic Modules and Sullivan. Thursday’s hours will be from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and Friday’s hours will be between 11 a.m. – 1p.m.
“We will soon begin our move into the new Wellness Center. A lot of used Worcester State athletic uniforms are in our inventory that we would love to make available to our student-athletes, faculty, alumni, parents, and friends of Worcester State University,” stated Worcester State Director of Athletics, Michael Mudd.
Sale items will include jerseys, t-shirts, athletic bags, game shorts, sweat suits, etc. All proceeds will be donated to the Worcester State Athletics Department Lancer Fund.
“Worcester State supporters will be able to purchase these items very inexpensively and at the same time will be supporting the Lancer Athletic Fund,” added Mudd. “This exercise will allow our department to clear out some of our old inventory and at the same time get the Worcester State brand into the hands of people that support us.”
