Caparell and Mullin led the Lancers with four teammates who tallied at least two hits. Caparell (2-for-4) ended the morning twinbill with two runs scored and four RBIs while Mullin was a perfect 3-for-3 as he crossed the plate three times and chipped in with a plated run.

The Lancers pounded out 12 base-hits in the victory as at least 11 teamates ended the contest with a single.

Worcester State will take a day off and then play McDaniel at 9 AM. Sophomore Bob Devito (Webster, MA) will get the nod for his third start of the 2009 campaign.
